ITINERARY
Day 1: Hanoi – Ta Xua Grassland – Dolphin Rock – Lonely Tree
Morning:
- Pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi. Depart for Ta Xua.

En route, you will make a short stop at Thanh Son Tea Hills (Phu Tho), where vast green tea plantations stretch across the rolling hills – a refreshing introduction to Vietnam’s rural landscape.

Arrive in Bac Yen town and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue the journey uphill to Ta Xua.

Upon arrival in Ta Xua, your guide will take you to explore the highlights:

Ta Xua Grassland – A wide open plateau where you can take in the panoramic views of endless mountain ranges and the vast blue sky. In summer, the grassland turns into a lush green carpet, bringing a sense of peace and freshness.

Dolphin Rock (Mỏm Cá Heo) – A massive natural rock formation shaped like two dolphins swimming in the sea of clouds. This is one of the most iconic photo spots in Ta Xua.

Lonely Tree (Cây Cô Đơn) – Standing tall on a mountain ridge, this solitary tree has become a perfect natural backdrop for photography. Just standing there is enough to capture stunning shots without any special posing.
Evening: Check in at your homestay in Ta Xua town. In the cool mountain night, gather around a hotpot dinner and taste a sip of warm corn wine – a cozy and memorable experience of the highlands. Overnight at Ta Xua.

Day 2: Dinosaur Backbone – Mountain Coffee – Hanoi
Morning:
- Wake up early and transfer to Hang Dong Dinosaur Backbone – one of the most breathtaking spots in Ta Xua. The long mountain ridge resembles the back of a giant dinosaur, surrounded by layers of mist. On clear days, you can witness the legendary “sea of clouds”, stretching endlessly over the valley. Here, you may enjoy a light breakfast while soaking up the magnificent scenery – truly a “million-dollar view.”

On the way back, you can choose to stop at one of Ta Xua’s famous cafés:
