ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi City Tour

Morning:

Pick you up at your hotel and begin your journey to explore the charming capital of Vietnam:

  • Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, a symbol of learning and traditional architecture.
  • Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, an iconic thousand-year-old landmark of Hanoi.

  • Stop at Ba Dinh Square for photos of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside view), the heart of Vietnam’s capital.

  • Enjoy Hanoi’s signature dishes such as Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) or Bun Cha – the local specialty once enjoyed by President Obama.

Afternoon:

  • Visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple on Jade Island.

  • Take a relaxing cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter, passing by French-colonial architecture such as the Opera House and Trang Tien Plaza.

  • Stop for photos at the famous St. Joseph’s Cathedral, one of Hanoi’s top check-in spots.

Evening:

  • Free time to discover Hanoi’s vibrant street food scene or enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show (optional, at your own expense).

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Trang An – Mua Cave – Hanoi

Morning:
Breakfast at hotel before departing for Ninh Binh:

  • Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Vietnam’s first capital in the 10th century, and explore the temples of Kings Dinh and Le.

  • Lunch: Savor local specialties such as goat meat and crispy rice at a local restaurant.

Afternoon:

  • Take a boat trip through Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site) to admire limestone caves, tranquil rivers, and sacred temples.

  • Climb nearly 500 stone steps to the top of Mua Cave, where you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc – Trang An, one of the most beautiful photo spots in Vietnam.

Evening:

  • Dinner in Ninh Binh (optional). Stroll around the ancient capital in the evening before heading back to Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Overnight on Cruise

Morning:
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to Halong Bay:

  • Upon arrival at the pier, check in on a luxury 4-star/5-star cruise. Begin your journey through the breathtaking seascape of limestone islands and emerald waters.

  • Lunch: Fresh seafood lunch served onboard as the cruise passes iconic landmarks such as Fighting Cock Islet and Incense Burner Islet.

Afternoon:

  • Visit the magnificent Sung Sot Cave or Thien Cung Cave.

  • Continue cruising and stop at Titop Island or a peaceful lagoon for swimming, kayaking, or simply relaxing on the sundeck while watching the sunset.

Evening:

Day 4: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

Morning:

  • Wake up early for a stunning sunrise over the bay.

  • Light breakfast served on board. Continue the cruise to visit a pearl farm or another limestone cave (depending on the cruise itinerary).

  • Return to the cruise for check-out and enjoy a hearty brunch as the boat sails back to the harbor.

Afternoon:
Transfer back to Hanoi by car. On the way, stop for a short break and shopping for local specialties.
